Workshops Learn what is not said in our communities
and institutions! Hands on education about people of
color with disabilities through trivia game, videos
and books on people of color with disabilities. Leroy
puts the Media, Hollywood and publishing arena under
the microscope to pick out what it means to disabled
people of color. These workshops can be tailor to
students, adults and professionals & teachers etc.
Look out for Leroy's new workshop, Brown Broken Disabled Bodies: Violence against disabled people of color from lynching, police brutality to sexual assault. Lectures From education to incarceration, from
racism to disablism, from police brutality to
sexuality, from arts to politics; Leroy covers it all
on how people of color with disabilities have been
buried alive but are blossoming in every area in our
society, sometimes good and sometimes bad. Leroy
discusses why the USA can learn from other countries
on race & disability issues. Also Leroy displays the
rich history of disabled people of color with
historical facts in the arena of arts, politics and
the civil rights movement.
Spoken Word Performances Leroy drops bombs with his
social justice poetry dealing with poverty, war,
racism, love etc... He also makes you travel pass his
disability and other layers of societal costume to
discover his apple heart towards humanity. His poetry
is a story that's been buried in our throats. Leroy
has poetry CD, entitled Black Disabled Man with a Big
Mouth & A High I.Q.
Consulting Outreach/disabled consultant to
organizations who are looking for education on how to
make their programs accessible to people with
disabilities and how to reach people of color
communities by using ethnic media.
